Context
With infinite scroll based on age, curated filters for style, color, price, and occasion, and access to authentic vendors across India, users can discover timeless sarees with confidence. Direct vendor interaction, trusted quality, and a luxury interface bring the feel of boutique shopping to the digital world.
How Did I Add Value?
As the sole designer, made saree shopping feel simpler and more personal by tailoring recommendations based on age and preferences.
Discovery
Internal Findings
During user interviews, many people shared that they felt irritated by being asked to sign up before even seeing the product.
So we let users explore the app first and only asked for details when they were ready, making the experience feel lighter and more welcoming.
Problem
Including social media experience into shopping app
One challenge was replicating the social media interaction users expect while shopping for sarees, where they can ask questions and get real-time clarity.
The Challenge
Many users were already shopping through social platforms like Instagram or Facebook Live, where sellers show products in real time and customers ask questions in the comments.
However, the process of taking screenshots and messaging sellers on WhatsApp to buy felt unreliable and risky, as it wasn’t always clear whether the seller was genuine or a potential scam.
My Solution
We made saree shopping feel social and trustworthy by enabling direct user–vendor conversations through comments while keeping reviews authentic and clutter-free.
Verified vendor profiles, along with likes, shares, ratings, and sales history, helped users feel confident about product popularity and authenticity before purchasing.

We designed this screen to feel like browsing a trusted seller on social media, but with the safety of a marketplace. Customers can explore the saree, see what others love, ask questions, and buy with confidence; all in one place.

Users could view verified vendor profiles with their past posts, follower count, ratings, and the number of products sold, helping them judge credibility and buy sarees with confidence from certified sellers.

Customer ask questions directly to vendors through comments, while keeping reviews clean and trustworthy.

A read-only reviews section for genuine feedback, where customer can sort reviews with most recent, most helpful and number of stars for more reliability.
